During recent years the Center of Information Systems & Technology
has been established as one of the newest & best centers .In accordance
with the quick technological improvement in the world , Hodiedah
university decided to establish this center to keep pace with the
latest development to reach the place which other countries have reached
in this field .
Telecommunication became easier through this new technology that made
the world become like a small village.
What distinguishes the infrastructure of
center of
Information Systems & Technology is :

Common wireless network connect all faculties of university with
advanced technology and high performance.
2.
Control center with 6 servers with special & advanced features.
3.
6 Internet centers in each the university faculties ,one in each faculty
with almost 40 pc in each one, provided with new systems & programs
that always update in order to provide facilities of Internet & E-mail
for all the university members.
4.
laboratories of Preparation and training with newest the educational
facilities.
Also in this center ,there is a special staff of computer programmers &
engineers with Bachelor's & Diploma degrees ,they work hard to be submit
the best in variant programs ,different designs & advanced presentation
which are related to university & outside it .And they manage the
university network that insures perfect performance to provide the
university with advanced technological communication , as well as they
manage the Internet centers worthily for insuring better service for

Objectives of the center:-

Providing internet & Email facilities for all the university members in
order to make it easier for them to get and keep in touch with the
outside world.

Training the University academic staff as well as students to use
electronic learning as a method of distance learning..

Conducting economical , technological project feasibility studies for
projects that are related to information technology and taking part in
future plans that are related to this field.

Caring for multimedia and making its infrastructure able to do its
services in exhibitions , conferences, advertisements of the
university .

Advertising and issuing a periodical for recent news about information
technology around the world & other universities.

Providing continuity of better performance of all the computers that
are available in the university through its continuous maintenance of
updated new programs.

Providing continuity of network performance & update broadening its of
domain.
The real objective is a configuration of base structure that implements
with the center of information systems & technology which is the beating
heart for providing the university with all matters to the information
systems of technology . This center is the university gateway to get
all the news in this field &to provide continuous communication

:
He manages all the activities and achieves the objectives the center
aims to fulfill.

Secretary
:
keeps the center connected with all the related departments,
arranges , coordinates and makes archives of the center's
information.

Department of Financial
management
:
its job is to supervise all financial undertaking of the center.
·
Network & internet
management
:On
the university level it implements the university plans in networks
configuration & designing with providing internet , E-mail facilities &
Electronic learning through this network ,as well as supporting &
fixing this network to achieve the objectives that the network is
made for, & provide these services for the Yemeni society .

Department of
Preparation,Training and Printing management
: its job is to train , prepare the university members on computer
illiteracy obliteration and do all the printed - bulletins , magazines
and university designs and provide these services for the outside
world.
·
Programming of
multimedia
:
its job is to analyze & design the programs that are related to the
university management , the students' issues and the academic issues ,
the computations … , as well as designing of web sites & presentations
for festivals & conferences that are related to the university and be
able to market outside these programs & designs .
·
Department Maintenance
management
:
it is responsible for supporting & fixing of all university computers
for providing continuity , perfect working of these machines.
